What is the point of healing arts?

I help people use art as a way to slow down, relax, reconnect with themselves and others, reflect on what they're feeling, and strengthen their creative thinking. The focus isn't on making something technically "good." It's about giving yourself permission to create, experiment, and pay attention to what comes up along the way.

Is this therapy, counseling, or mental-health treatment?

No. Healing arts sessions are creative wellness experiences. They are not psychotherapy, mental-health treatment, or art therapy, and they are not a replacement for care from a licensed mental-health professional.

Who might benefit from this kind of experience?

Healing arts may be a good fit if you're experiencing burnout, anxiety, low mood, ADHD-related overwhelm, creative blocks, isolation, difficulty disconnecting from screens, or simply struggling to make time for yourself. It can also be especially helpful for creatives who want to deepen their relationship with their creativity and loosen perfectionism. This practice is inclusive and welcoming of people across identities, backgrounds, beliefs, ages, and levels of artistic experience.

What does a typical session look like?

Every session is a little different and can be shaped around what you're currently experiencing or hoping to explore. We may work with collage, watercolor, art journaling, clay, intuitive drawing, creative writing, or grounding and reflective exercises. You'll usually leave with a tangible piece of artwork, but the finished product isn't really the point — the goal is to give yourself time to slow down, experiment, reflect, and reconnect with your creativity.

Do I need any art experience to participate?

No. You do not need any prior art skills or experience. There is no grading, critique, or expectation that your artwork needs to look a certain way — this is true across every experience Jasmine offers.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies by experience — from a free 10-minute consultation to $50–$260 depending on the format and length. See each experience page for exact pricing, or book a free consultation to find the right fit.

Are sessions offered online, in person, or both?

Both. Sessions are offered online via Zoom, or in person as mobile sessions — Jasmine travels to you, throughout select areas of Southern California.

Do you travel for mobile sessions?

Yes — mobile sessions are available throughout select areas of Southern California. Travel fees vary by distance and are added to the session price.

Can I book a session for my child?

Yes — Creative Wellness for Kids is a 45-minute mobile session tailored to the child's interests and needs, with no pressure to make something "perfect" and no prior art experience required.
